That as Christ saved us when we were helpless, we too may save the helpless among us, including the poor, the unwelcome, and the unborn, we pray to the Lord…
For all who will be baptized and received into the Church at Easter, we pray to the Lord...
That the sick will find comfort in the cross of Christ, and that the deceased will have a share in His resurrection, we pray to the Lord...
Celebrant:
Father,
as we begin this Holy Week,
lead us more deeply into the life
Jesus brings us by his suffering and death.
We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.
