Priests’ group warns Co Springs taxpayers of
legal liabilities
New York City- In the wake of the Colorado Springs District 11 school
board's decision to continue to give high schools the option of inviting
Planned Parenthood to give presentations, Priests for Life, a national
anti-abortion organization, warned local taxpayers of the legal liabilities
they face in this regard.
"Planned Parenthood runs one of the largest criminal cover-ups in the
nation," said Fr. Frank Pavone, national director of Priests for Life, "and we
have the evidence for anyone prepared to listen. They regularly violate
reporting requirements regarding the sexual abuse of minors. A school would not
purchase faulty sports equipment, because it has the responsibility to provide a
safe environment for the students. For the same reason, schools should not
expose their students to Planned Parenthood. It's only a matter of time before
the school board and the citizens will have to face lawsuits in this regard."
