Priest praises Florida Governor Bush for signing Women's Health and Safety Act

Washington, DC- Fr. Frank Pavone, national director of Priests for Life, issued the following statement in support of the Women's Health and Safety Act which will bring some regulation to abortion clinics in Florida.

"Though abortions should not be legal at all, it is only right that abortion facilities be better regulated than they are, for the sake of the women who go there," said Fr. Frank Pavone. "I thank Gov. Bush for signing the Women's Health and Safety Act. I also challenge the abortion industry to be as supportive of women's health in fact as they are in rhetoric, and stop opposing measures like this wherever they arise."
