Governor's Veto Keeps Truth About Late Term Abortions Secret says Fr. Pavone

In response to Governor Kathleen Sebelius’s veto of SB 528, Fr. Frank Pavone, National Director of Priests for Life, stated,  “Once again, the Governor is serving the abortion industry rather than the people.  Most Americans don’t realize that abortions are being performed by the thousands after 22 weeks gestation, and the abortion industry wants us to think they are performed only for health reasons.  They know that if the public found out how many healthy babies of healthy mothers are killed at that stage, people would demand a change in the law.”
