Fr. Pavone Praises Michigan
House For Protecting Women From Abortion Coercion
The Michigan House of Representatives recently
passed a series of bills that would bar coercing or intimidating a woman into
having an abortion.
Fr. Frank Pavone, National Director of Priests
for Life, stated, “Coercion to abort is far more common than most of us realize.
Abortion is not about freedom of choice, but about feeling one has no freedom
and no choice.
“Some claim that banning abortion can lead to
forced abortion. In reality, telling someone she has a right to get an
abortion is what opens the door to telling her that she must.”
