Fr. Pavone on Alabama Abortion Clinics: More Regulations, More Enforcement

After several recent disclosures of state regulatory violations at a Birmingham abortion clinic, the director of the Alabama Bureau of Health Provider Standards has announced that rules governing such clinics will be revised in the next 45 days. 

Fr. Frank Pavone, National Director of Priests for Life, commented, “Abortion remains the most unregulated industry in the nation.  We welcome all that Alabama can do to increase regulations and especially to enforce them vigorously.  Other states need to do the same, and our organization will continue to press for that.”
