Fr. Pavone Backs Upcoming Nationwide Youth Effort
for Crisis Pregnancy Centers
Fr. Frank Pavone, National
Director of Priests for Life, today urged support for Wash for Life, a national
movement of young people organizing car washes across the country to raise money
for local crisis pregnancy centers. Thus far, at least 175 groups in 37
states will be participating in the first car wash event on Saturday morning,
September 16, as a means to provide tangible support for pregnant women.
“Wash for Life is a tremendous
concept and a great act of service on behalf of women and their unborn babies,”
said Fr. Pavone. “I urge everyone to go to
www.washforlife.org, see where the car washes will be held, and go get their
cars cleaned on September 16. It’s a great way to encourage and provide
practical help to those who help others and to foster the culture of life.”
Priests for Life is the
nation's largest Catholic pro-life organization dedicated to ending abortion and
