Fr. Pavone Comments on Committee Action on Abortion Bill 

Amarillo, TX – Fr. Frank Pavone, National Director of Priests for Life, today commented on the 8-1 vote of the Senate State Affairs Committee to defer consideration of a bill to prohibit most abortions. 

“The task of restoring protection to the unborn child is in a different category than any other legislative consideration,” said Fr. Pavone.  “It directly pertains to the most fundamental demands of justice and human rights.  Whatever path we take to get to that goal, reaching the goal of justice for all has to be the top priority of every legislator and citizen.”
