National Priests Leader Applauds Mississippi Abortion Legislation; Urges Governor’s Approval

Amarillo, TX – Fr. Frank Pavone, National Director of Priests for Life, today praised the Mississippi legislature for passing a bill to outlaw most abortions if the U.S. Supreme Court overturns Roe v. Wade.

“The evidence continues to mount that Roe vs. Wade has damaged the women it claimed to serve, not to mention the over 42 million children killed in the womb.  Even the ‘Jane Roe’ of Roe vs. Wade, Norma McCorvey, now rejects that decision as a colossal mistake,” Fr. Pavone explained.  “The Governor’s signature on this bill will be quite consistent with the current trend all across America.”
