Fr. Pavone Praises Enactment of State Partial Birth-Abortion Ban

 

Amarillo, TX – Fr. Frank Pavone, National Director of Priests for Life, today praised Gov. Kathleen Blanco and the Louisiana legislature for enacting the nation’s first state ban on partial-birth abortion since the U.S. Supreme Court upheld a similar federal prohibition.

 

“Louisiana is leading the way in what every state needs to do,” said Fr. Pavone.  “The violence of partial-birth abortion, moreover, is reflected in every abortion.  We pray and work for the day when our final goal will be reached, the protection of every unborn child.”
