Release of Court Documents Heightens Call
for Investigation of Planned Parenthood
Says Dr. Alveda King |
|
Atlanta, GA – Documents released in a Kansas court case, which include
what a judge called “evidence of crimes” by Planned Parenthood, require an
immediate Congressional investigation of the abortion organization said Dr.
Alveda King today.
“It appears from released copies of Planned Parenthood records that the
organization performed abortions in violation of Kansas law and that it may
have manufactured documents to cover its actions,” said Dr. King, Pastoral
Associate of Priests for Life and niece of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
“These revelations are incriminating, but not surprising.”
“This year alone, it’s been revealed that Planned Parenthood is willing
to accept donations to abort only black babies, that it’s being sued for
overbilling taxpayers in California, and that it may have violated state
laws protecting minors from sexual predators. And while all this is
happening, Congress is giving Planned Parenthood hundreds of millions of
dollars a year,” added Dr. King. “Enough is enough; not only should Planned
Parenthood not get another penny from the government, it should be
investigated by Congress.”
