Staten Island, NY – Fr. Frank Pavone, National Director of Priests for Life,
will be available for comments on the Elections both before and after Election
Day, particularly as the elections affect the abortion issue, and also in
reference to the Catholic vote and the role of the Church.
Fr. Pavone and Priests for Life have been widely credited with having a strong
influence in the Presidential elections of 2000 and 2004. With a vast media
outreach and church activation effort, Priests for Life was named in 2006 among
the top 20 Christian political organizations in the country (
www.thechurchreport.com ). After
the 2000 elections, Judge William Clark, who served in President Reagan’s
cabinet, praised the efforts of Priests for Life for having “won the election.”
Deal Hudson, former chairman of Catholic Outreach at the Republican National
Committee, writes in his recent book that Priests for Life is “the most
successful Catholic political advocacy group in the nation” (Onward, Christian
Soldiers, p. 147). See
www.PoliticalResponsibility.com for the election website of Priests for
Life.
Fr. Pavone will draw upon his 15 years of pro-life leadership to offer his
perspective on the 2008 elections and their impact on the future of the battle
to end abortion in America.
To reach Fr. Pavone for comments or an interview, please contact Jerry Horn at
the number above.
