Atlanta, GA – Dr. Alveda King, niece of Dr. Martin Luther King,
Jr., and full-time Pastoral Associate of Priests for Life, announced today the
creation of her new blog at
www.priestsforlife.org/africanamerican/blog.
“I know from a lifetime in the civil rights movement that culture changes. It’s
the good and the bad in those changes that I want to talk about,” Alveda
explained.
Alveda directs the African American Outreach of Priests for Life. In that
capacity, she travels the nation, speaking in Churches and on campuses, engaging
the media, praying at abortion mills, and meeting with pastors and other
pro-life leaders to plan pro-life activities.
One the questions Alveda asks most frequently of today’s culture is, “How can
the dream survive if we murder the children?”
“There’s a lot to say, and I intend to say it!” concluded Alveda.
Priests for Life is the nation's largest Catholic pro-life organization
dedicated to ending abortion and euthanasia. For more information, visit
