Atlanta, GA – Dr. Alveda King, Pastoral Associate of Priests for Life and niece of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., today urged Americans to pray for the nation and vote on Tuesday.
“The voting booth will be vital, and the prayer room will be even more vital on Tuesday,” said Dr. King. “We must remember what is at stake in this election. We must take courage and hope in the fact that God is in control. We must vote, and we must remember to pray always.”
“The world is watching and lives are at stake,” added Dr. King. “Let us be able to say on Wednesday that we did our best and let us humbly remember that God has the final say.”
