Fr. Pavone: Pro-lifers are winning the pain capable battle

STATEN ISLAND, NY – Fr. Frank Pavone, National Director of Priests for Life, today praised Mississippi Governor Phil Bryant for signing into law a bill to protect six-to-nine-month-old unborn babies.
"The abortion lobby believes that the painful dismemberment of babies should be allowed up until birth. Mississippi, an increasing number of other states, the U.S. House of Representatives, and the American people disagree," said Fr. Pavone. “Governor Bryant and the Mississippi legislature are to be commended for their compassion in enacting the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act. The protection of babies in the womb based on their capacity to feel pain is the next major battleground for the pro-life movement, and one that we are already winning.”
Priests for Life is the nation's largest Catholic pro-life organization dedicated to ending abortion and euthanasia. For more information, visit www.priestsforlife.org.
