At Women Deliver conference, Hillary Clinton seeks to expand her radical abortion agenda around the world

WASHINGTON, D.C. - - Marie Smith, director of the Parliamentary Network of Critical Issues, a ministry of Priests for Life and Gospel of Life, called Hillary Clinton’s videotaped remarks to the Women Deliver Conference 2016 “a clear signal that Clinton is seeking to expand her radical views on abortion around the globe.”

Women Deliver, in Copenhagen, was self-described as "the world's largest global conference on the health, rights, and well being of girls and women in the last decade," and the first such gathering since the launch of the United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

In an article on the PNCI website that was reposted on LifeNews, Mrs. Smith wrote:

“Clinton called for renewed efforts to ‘break down the barriers holding back women and girls around the world" and stated, "Gender equality, including sexual and reproductive health and rights, must be a core priority.’

“Her message comes at a strategic time as the world is seeking to implement measures to achieve the SDGs and ensure by 2030 ‘universal access to sexual and reproductive health-care services’ and ‘Ensure universal access to sexual and reproductive health and reproductive rights. …It is well-known that Clinton has long supported abortion on demand throughout pregnancy calling it not only a woman's right, a human right and a 'reproductive right' but unabashedly proclaimed in testimony before the House Foreign Affairs Committee in April 2009 that "reproductive health includes access to abortion."

Father Frank Pavone, National Director of Priests for Life/Gospel of Life Ministries, said: “Hillary Clinton and her allies in the global effort to push unlimited abortion everywhere see religion as their biggest obstacle. So did Bernard Nathanson, who started the abortion industry. This is all the more reason why Priests for Life works to equip and motivate the clergy to lead God's people in defending the weakest among us, the unborn.”
