Priests for Life to host telephone press conference Monday after ruling in Whole Woman’s Health vs. Hellerstedt
WASHINGTON, D.C. -- With the U.S. Supreme Court ruling expected Monday, June 27, in the Texas abortion case Whole Woman's Health vs. Hellerstedt -- a case that could have far-reaching implications for abortion facilities across the country -- Priests for Life will host a teleconference for the media at 11:30 a.m. that day.
On the call will be the National Director of Priests for Life, Father Frank Pavone, who is a priest of Amarillo, Texas; State Representative Jodie Laubenburg, who authored, carried, and passed House Bill 2 in the Texas legislature; Kyleen Wright, president of Texans for Life Coalition, who spearheaded the inclusion of the "admitting privileges" portion of the law, and Carol Everett, founder of The Heidi Group and a former abortion provider, who spearheaded the inclusion of the "ambulatory surgical center" portion of the law.
To take part in the call, dial 712-432-0700, then dial access code 619300#
Priests for Life submitted a "Friend of the Court" brief in this case, on behalf of the women of the Silent No More Awareness Campaign, who have had abortions and share their testimonies about why laws like the one in Texas is necessary.

Judith Pecho Why are you not working on providing options for women rather than join the lucrative donation aspect to opposing abortion. Women want choices. Why not open small homes around the state where women can go privately out of sight of family and friends if needed to let the fetus live out it's development into a viable infant. And part of that would include legitimate adoption service to screened parents without big money involved in adoption. Help them with fiances and provide heads of small homes that are trained to counsel and provide proper nourishment. And provide funds to help support the families who lose income during pregnancy, and postpartum. Why not preach to men about their reckless part of abortion giving women money for abortion cause they don't want to support a child. Get their DNA and make they pay for the expenses so tax payers are not against such a plan. Teach men to control their urges and to work on their own spirtuality than to impregnate women one after another. They are never mentioned in this abortion issue. Why not preach to keep their pants zipped, to learn to change their habits and see that it is wrong to impregnate woman after woman. And why not tell the church in Rome to sell some of their piles of gold they have from selling confessions, and slave labor to build their monster churches in Europe. They stole my mothers insurance money meant to raise myself and brother and sister, and it was a lot of money in 1954, $8,000. Never any accounting. Worked and bought my clothes in a dime store. Foster parents angry the check didn't come. Take care that you report your wayward priests and report them to the police that violate a child. You are not so good in this issue. You are to be examined closely. No alternatives, or options offered after so many years, but lots of money when you incite and show pictures that people dig deep in their wallets. It is about money with you and the organizations you are connected with.
