Priests for Life Offers On-Line Homilies
for Entire Liturgical Year

"Priests for Life is not only a source for excellent pastoral information on
abortion, but also a source of homily material for priests and deacons for the
entire liturgical year," said Fr. Frank Pavone, as he announced the addition of
audio homilies for Sundays and Feasts of the Church’s liturgy on the web site of
Priests for Life, http://www.priestsforlife.org
The website, which receives some 7000 visitors a day, has a link from its
home page to a special page for the homilies, which require the RealAudio player
to listen to. On a regular basis, homilies given in recent years by Fr. Frank
Pavone will be posted there, close to the actual day in the liturgical cycle on
which they were originally preached.
Executive Director Anthony DeStefano announced that this initiative is an
outreach of the newly established "Gospel of Life Ministries," by which Fr.
Pavone will expand his pro-life work beyond the reach of Priests for Life and
will also make available the educational resources he has developed on various
aspects of the Christian Faith. More detailed announcements about Gospel of Life
Ministries will be made in the near future.
Fr. Frank Pavone is a priest of the New York Archdiocese and an Official of
the Pontifical Council for the Family at the Vatican where he helps to
coordinate pro-life activities throughout the world. He has led the Priests for
Life movement throughout the world since 1993. Priests for Life is an
association recognized under the Canon Law of the Catholic Church.
