Fr. Frank Pavone is a widely requested speaker who has traveled to every state and five continents, working with clergy and pro-life groups in his capacity as National Director of Priests for Life. He addresses all aspects of abortion, euthanasia, and the pro-life movement, including a special set of seminars on healing after abortion.
Fr. James Heyd was ordained in 1989. He has served in parishes and a seminary, where he raised awareness of the sanctity of life amongst the seminarians. He also organized and coordinated the Holy Hour for Life and is involved in sidewalk counseling. In 2005, Fr. Heyd was given permission by Cardinal George to work full-time for Priests for Life.
Fr. Walter Quinn, OSA began serving Priests for Life on a full time basis in mid-1999. He is an Augustinian priest with some 40 years of parish experience, and is available for speaking engagements.
Fr. Peter West, Priest Associate of Priests for Life and a priest of the Archdiocese of Newark, New Jersey, is available full time to meet the growing needs of invitations we receive around the country.
Fr. Denis Wilde, OSA, an Augustinian priest and a professor at Villanova University, likewise travels the country as a full time Priest Associate of Priests for Life. He will give special emphasis to post-abortion issues, as well as the use of music to communicate the pro-life message. He will even be available to present classical piano recitals for the pro-life cause.
Fr. Dennis M. Weber, S.C. is a priest of the Servants of Charity. His primary pro-life work has been in his ministry of serving persons with mental retardation. It is the recognition of the innate dignity of these persons made in God's image and likeness and the respect due to them that has further enkindled his desire to become more involved and committed to the pro-life movement in saving the unborn and especially in exposing the genocide of abortion of persons with genetic defects. He will be traveling around the country to raise awareness of the importance of ending abortion in America.
Fr. Victor Salomón was born in Venezuela and is part of the Hermandad de Sacerdotes Operarios Diocesanos (Diocesan Laborer Priests). He is part of a Rachel's Vineyard Retreat Team and celebrates Mass and attends cases in the Project Rachel Office of the Archdiocese of Washington. He started as Priest Associate of Priests for Life in November 2007.
Janet Morana serves as Fr. Frank Pavone's assistant. She is the Associate Director of Priests for Life and Co-Founder of the Silent No More Awareness Campaign. Prior to working full-time for Priests for Life, she taught in New York City public schools. She appears on Fr. Frank's television series "Defending Life," and on his radio series "Life and Choice." Read an endorsement for Janet
James Pinto, Jr. serves as a pastoral associate of Priests for Life. He served as a priest in the Anglican Tradition for over 20 years and entered into full communion with the Roman Catholic Church in 2003. He is recognized nationally as an advocate for the poor, for racial reconciliation, and for the right to life.
Dr. Theresa Burke founded the international Rachel's Vineyard retreat ministry, bringing healing to those who have had abortions. She recently joined the Priests for Life staff, and continues to train post-abortion counselors and priests. She is the author of Forbidden Grief, a key resource for understanding the harm abortion causes.
Kevin Burke, husband of Theresa, is executive director of Rachel's Vineyard. As an associate on the Priests for Life staff, he coordinates this ministry and lends his expertise in the areas of the impact of abortion on men, as well as other issues related to marriage, family, and human sexuality.
Dr. Alveda King, niece of the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., is a minister of the Gospel, educator, author, and civil rights activist. She holds that preserving the lives of the unborn is the most pressing moral issue of the day. She joined the Priests for Life staff in 2005 as Director of African American Outreach.
Fr. Richard Hogan served as Associate Director of Priests for Life from 1995 to 2000. He now works with Fr. Dan McCaffrey in a national effort to teach Natural Family Planning. He is likewise available for speaking engagements.
