Presidential and State Primary voter registration deadline – February 1, 2016

General Election voter registration deadline – October 10, 2016

General Election date – November 8, 2016

Early voting:

In person:

Any voter may vote early in person between February 15, 2016 and February 29, 2016 for the Presidential and State Primary; between October 24, 2016 and November 7, 2016 for the General Election.

By mail:

Absentee voting by mail is permitted only if: you will be “unavoidably absent from your polling site on election day;” physical illness or disability prevents you from going to your polling site; you are in the armed forces or the spouse or dependent family member of a person in the armed services; or you are temporarily living outside the U.S.

Absentee ballots must be requested for the Presidential and State Primary no later than February 23, 2016 by mail; no later than February 29, 2016 in person.

Absentee ballots must be requested for the General Election no later than November 1, 2016 by mail; November 7, 2016 in person.

Mailed absentee ballots must be received by Election Day unless the voter is overseas, in which case the deadline for receipt of the mailed absentee ballot is 10 days after the election. If delivered in person, the deadline for absentee ballots is the day before the election.
