Early Voting in CALIFORNIA
In person - Any qualified voter may vote early in person. For dates,
times, and places for early voting in the 2008 election, the voter should
contact the county clerk or registrar of voters in his county of residence. A
list of these officials and their contact information is available at
www.ss.ca.gov/elections/elections_d.htm
By mail - Any qualified voter may vote by mail. Applications are printed
on the sample ballot every voter receives. Applications are also available from
county clerks or registrars of voters, a list of whom is available at
www.ss.ca.gov/elections/elections_d.htm. An application may also be
downloaded at
www.ss.ca.gov/elections/Outreach/absentee/links/absentee_app_gen.pdf (PDF
Format). Mailed ballots must be received by Election Day. Ballots may also be
returned in person to the voter's polling place.
