Early Voting in CALIFORNIA

In person - Any qualified voter may vote early in person. For dates, times, and places for early voting in the 2008 election, the voter should contact the county clerk or registrar of voters in his county of residence. A list of these officials and their contact information is available at www.ss.ca.gov/elections/elections_d.htm

By mail - Any qualified voter may vote by mail. Applications are printed on the sample ballot every voter receives. Applications are also available from county clerks or registrars of voters, a list of whom is available at www.ss.ca.gov/elections/elections_d.htm.  An application may also be downloaded at www.ss.ca.gov/elections/Outreach/absentee/links/absentee_app_gen.pdf (PDF Format). Mailed ballots must be received by Election Day. Ballots may also be returned in person to the voter's polling place.
