Early voting

In person – Any voter may vote early in person, no excuse required. As soon as absentee ballots are available (30 to 45 days before an election), a voter may vote an absentee ballot, without having to apply for one, at his municipal clerk’s office.  Early in-person voting – September 22 to November 5

By mail – Any voter may vote early by mail, no excuse required. Applications for absentee/vote-by-mail ballots may be requested beginning three months before the election up until the Thursday before the election. Completed ballots must be returned by the close of polls on Election Day.
