Early Voting in MARYLAND

Early voting in person - It is not permitted in this state to vote in person before Election Day.

By mail - Any registered voter may vote early by mail.  Applications to vote early by mail in the Presidential Primary and State Primary must be received by February 6, 2008.  Applications to vote early by mail in the General Election must be received by October 28.  An absentee ballot application and a list of local Board of Elections offices is available at www.elections.state.md.us/pdf/2008_Absentee_Ballot_Application.pdf.  A Late Application for Absentee Voting may be filled out in person at a local Board of Elections office from the day after the application-by-mail deadline until Election Day.
