Early Voting in MINNESOTA
In person - A registered voter may vote early in person if he plans to
be away from home on Election Day, is ill or disabled, will be serving as an
election judge in a precinct not his own, or will be unable to go to the polls
due to a religious observance. The eligible voter may vote at his County Auditor
or City or Township Clerk's Office in the 30 days before Election Day. To

By mail - A registered voter may vote early by mail if he plans to be
away from home on Election Day, is ill or disabled, will be serving as an
election judge in a precinct not his own, or will be unable to go to the polls
due to a religious observance. The voter may send an application for absentee
ballot (see
www.sos.state.mn.us/docs/ab_application_new.pdf for an application form in
PDF format) to his County Auditor or City or Township Clerk. Contact information

for absentee voting will be mailed to the voter.
