Early voting

In person – Early voting in person is not permitted.

By mail – A voter may vote early by mail if he meets one of the following qualifications: absence from “the jurisdiction of the election authority in which such voter is registered to vote” on Election Day; illness or physical disability (including caregivers of those with an illness or physical disability); work at a polling place other than his own on Election Day; religious belief or practice prevents going to the polls; incarceration, provided person is otherwise eligible to vote.

Requests for absentee/vote-by-mail ballots must be received no later than 5:00 p.m. on the Wednesday before the election. Absentee ballots must be received by the close of polls on Election Day.
