Early Voting in MONTANA
In person - Any registered voter may vote early in person. At least 30
days before Election Day, a voter may go to his local election office, apply for
an absentee ballot and then vote in one visit. The voter should call his local
election office for exact dates, times, and places for early voting. Contact

By mail - Any registered voter may vote early by mail. An application
for absentee voting must be received by the voter's local election office by
noon, the day before the election. An application may be downloaded at
http://sos.mt.gov/ELB/forms/voters/absenteeballot.pdf (PDF format). The
application contains a list of local election offices. Absentee ballots must be
received by local election offices by Election Day.
