Early Voting in NEW MEXICO
In Person - Registered Democrats may vote early in person in the
Presidential. Caucus between January 12 and January 28 at sites determined
by the New Mexico Democratic Party. Voters in other elections may vote early in
person at the County Clerk’s office beginning 28 days before the election and
ending the Saturday before Election Day. Voters may also vote early in
person at alternate sites beginning the third Saturday before the election and
ending on the Saturday before Election Day. Locations of alternate voting
sites will be available from local County Clerk offices. Contact

By Mail - Registered Democrats may request a vote by mail ballot for
the Presidential Caucus from December 17, 2007 through January 21, 2008.
Ballots must be requested from the New Mexico Democratic Party, not the County
Clerk. Vote by mail ballots must be postmarked by January 28 to be counted
in the Democratic Presidential Caucus. Voters in other elections may
request an application for absentee ballot from their County Clerk and return it
no later than the Friday before Election Day. Completed absentee ballots
must be returned to the County Clerk no later than Election Day. Contact
