Early voting

In person – Any voter may vote early in person, no excuse required. Early in-person voting is available for the State Primary between May 28 and June 11; for the General Election between October 22 and November 5.

Early in-person voting begins Monday, October 22. To find early voting locations, dates, and times, voters should call or e-mail their county election official, who is usually their County Auditor. Contact information for County Auditors is available at https://vip.sos.nd.gov/CountyAuditors.aspx.

By mail – Any voter may vote early by mail, no excuse required. There is no specified deadline for applications for absentee/vote-by-mail ballots. Absentee ballots must be postmarked or returned no later than the day before the election.
