Early Voting in NORTH DAKOTA
In person - North Dakota is the only state that does not require voter
registration. Any eligible voter may vote early in person. The voter should
contact his local County Auditor or election official for details on locations,
dates, and times of early voting precincts. By law, early voting precincts are

By mail - North Dakota does not require voter registration. Any
eligible voter may vote early by mail. The voter must mail, fax, or deliver in
person an application for absentee ballot to his local County Auditor or other
election official. An application for absentee ballot is available at
www.nd.gov/eforms/Doc/sfn51468.pdf in PDF format. A list of County
Auditors/election officials is available at

. Absentee ballots must be returned or postmarked by the day before the
election.
