GEORGIA

Georgia will elect a Governor in 2018.

Primary Election voter registration deadline – April 23, 2018
Primary Election date – May 22, 2018

Primary Election Runoff voter registration deadline – April 23, 2018
Primary Election Runoff date – July 24, 2018

General Election voter registration deadline – October 9, 2018
General Election date – November 6, 2018

Early voting –

In person – Any voter may vote early in person, no excuse required.  Early in-person
voting is available for the Primary Election from April 30 through May 21, 2018; for the General Election from  October 17 through November 5, 2018.

By mail – Any voter may vote early by mail, no excuse required.  Voters may apply for absentee ballots as early as 180 days before an election.  The last day absentee ballots can be issued is May 18, 2018 for the Primary Election; November 4, 2018 for the General Election.  Absentee ballots must be received by the close of polls on Election Day.
