HAWAII

Hawaii will elect a Governor and a U.S. Senator in 2018.

Primary Election voter registration deadline – July 12, 2018

Primary Election date – August 11, 2018

General Election voter registration deadline – October 9, 2018

General Election date – November 6, 2018

Early voting –

In person –  Any voter may vote early in person, no excuse required.  Early in-person voting is available for the Primary Election between July 30 and August 9, 2018; for the General Election between October 23 and November 3, 2018.

By mail –  Any voter may vote early by mail, no excuse required.  Applications for absentee/vote-by-mail ballots for the Primary Election must be received by August 4, 2018; for the General Election, by October 30, 2018.

Absentee ballots must be received by the city or county clerk by the close of polls on Election Day.
