Primary Election voter registration deadline – April 9, 2018

Primary Election date – May 8, 2018

General Election voter registration deadline – October 9, 2018

General Election date – November 6, 2018

Early voting –

In person –     

Any voter may vote early in person at his county election board, no excuse necessary.  Early in person voting is available for the Primary Election from April 10 until 12:00 noon on May 7, 2018; for the General Election, from October 10 until 12:00 noon on November 5, 2018.

By mail –        

To vote absentee by mail, you must meet one of several qualifications, including that you will be absent from the county on Election Day, you are disabled or have an illness that confines you to home, you are over 65, or you will be working during all 12 hours that the polls will be open.             

A circuit court clerk must receive an absentee ballot application, either by mail or in person, by April 30, 2018 for the Primary Election; by October 29, 2018 for the General Election.
