Early Voting

In person -  You may vote early in person if you fulfill one of several criteria including that you will be out of the county on Election Day or you are a pregnant woman in her third trimester or you are a precinct worker assigned to work outside of your precinct or you or your spouse has surgery scheduled for Election Day.

For those who qualify, early in person voting is available between October 21, 2016 and November 7, 2016.

By mail -  You may vote early by mail only if you cannot get to the polls due to advanced age, disability, or medical emergency; you are in the armed services or a dependent of someone in the armed services; you temporarily live outside the state; you are a student attending school outside the county of your residence; or you work outside your county of residence and cannot get to the polls on Election Day or during early in person voting.

Those who qualify for early voting by mail may request an absentee ballot no later than November 1, 2016.  Absentee ballots must be returned by Election Day.
