Early Voting

In person –  

In person absentee voting is permitted only if you cannot go to the polls on Election Day due to age, health, work requirements, or you will be outside your county of residence on Election Day.

Voters should contact their Circuit Clerk or Municipal Clerk’s office for dates and times when they may vote their absentee ballots in person.

By mail –        

Voting early by mail is permitted only if you cannot go to the polls on Election Day due to age, health, work requirements, or you will be outside your county of residence on Election Day.

Applications for absentee ballots are available at least 45 days before an election.  There is no deadline for requesting an absentee ballot, but voters should allot enough time so that their completed absentee ballots are received by 5:00 PM on November 5, 2018.
