Early voting –
In person – Washington is a vote-by-mail state, but a voter may take the ballot he receives in the mail and turn it in at a county voting center.  Each county voting center is open during regular business hours from October 21 through Election Day, November 8.  To find your county voting center, go to and fill in your name and date of birth or contact your  County Elections Department (go to and click on your county for contact information).
By mail – Washington conducts voting by mail only.  Registered voters will be mailed ballots at least 18 days before an election (October 21).  Ballots must be postmarked no later than Election Day or returned to the county voting center on Election Day.  See above (“In person”) for information on locating your county voting center.
