Catholic talk show host and co-host of EWTN’s, The Catholic View for

www.Livestream.com/IgnatiusPress to RSVP!
As you may know, I am a regular columnist both for The Washington
Post online forum called “On Faith” and for the FoxNews.com Opinion
page. When one of my columns is posted, there are always many comments from
those who ridicule the Church and the pro-life movement. But the good news
is that you can add your comments as well, and counteract the negative ones!
The more of our Priests for Life family participate in this conversation,
the more the readers will see the strength of our movement. Read my latest
column ,Taking
‘Personhood’ Back. I’d also encourage you to vote in a poll
about personhood by
clicking here.
We invite you to join our upcoming pro-life prayer campaigns and order
prayer cards for your parish or school. From November 27 – December 24 pray
an Advent Prayer for Life and from December 4-12 pray a Novena to Our Lady
of Guadalupe. Find the prayers and order the prayer cards at
www.PrayerCampaign.org.

Silent No More Awareness Campaign Gears Up For January
Silent No More Awareness Campaign co-founders Janet Morana (Executive
Director of Priests for Life) and Georgette Forney (President of Anglicans
for Life) have announced plans for the gatherings that will take place in
January at the March for Life and at the West Coast Walk for Life.
As in previous years, at the front of each of these marches will be men
and women of the Campaign, holding signs saying “I Regret My Abortion” and
“I Regret Lost Fatherhood.” At the conclusion of each of the marches, the
Campaign members will, one by one, share their testimonies of the pain of
abortion and the healing that followed.
This year, exciting news about additional spokespersons for the Campaign
will be announced at these events, and a new design of the Campaign website
will be unveiled.
The Campaign, which is the world’s largest post-abortion mobilization,
asks you to be involved in spreading the testimonies that these brave men
and women will give. Moreover, if you have had an abortion and want to march
with other men and women who are Silent No More, or if you want to share
your testimony, contact the Campaign at
www.SilentNoMoreAwareness.org.
Priests for Life Adds Pastoral Consultant
Priests for Life’s newest pastoral consultant, Father Stephen Imbarrato,
knows first-hand the joys of fatherhood, and the regret of lost fatherhood.
As a single father, he adopted a son from Colombia in 1987. But years before
that, he was complicit in his girlfriend’s abortion. Later they would learn
she had been carrying their twins.
Shortly after the Silent No More Awareness Campaign was founded in 2003
to give post-abortive women a public platform to talk about how abortion had
harmed them, Father Imbarrato, then a seminarian, contacted co-founders
Janet Morana and Georgette Forney and described his own remorse and regret.
“So, with permission from the seminary, at the 2004 gathering, he was the
first man to give testimony,” recalled Mrs. Morana, Executive Director of
Priests for Life. “I remember how powerful his statement was: ‘How small of
a man was I that I put pressure on my girlfriend to have an abortion.’ It
was the first time a man had publicly apologized to the women, and the
reception of his testimony was tremendous.”
Ordained in 2005 and now a priest of the Archdiocese of Santa Fe,
N.M.,where he founded Project Defending Life, Father Imbarrato has
joined Priests for Life as a part-time Pastoral Consultant.
“I am happy to welcome Father Imbarrato to our Pastoral Team,” said
Father Frank Pavone, National Director. “Along with our other priests, he
will work, on a part-time basis, networking priests and traveling and
speaking for the cause of life. In his work with us, one of Father Stephen’s
special tasks will be to promote Eucharistic processions at abortion mills.”
In addition to Father Pavone, the full-time priests on the pastoral staff
include Father Denis G. Wilde, O.S.A., Associate Director; Father Victor
Salomón, Director of Hispanic Outreach; Father Scott Daniels, OP, and Father
Walter Quinn, O.S.A., Monsignor Michael Mannion, of the Diocese of Camden,
N.J., and Fr. Anthony Mastroeni, of the Diocese of Paterson, are part-time
pastoral consultants.
