The Media Department continues to work on getting television, radio and newspaper interviews for Father Frank Pavone, Janet Morana, Alveda King and other members of the Pastoral Team. In recent days, Father Frank did a follow-up interview with Christian Broadcasting Network about a hopeful development for the parents of British baby Charlie Gard, and both he and Janet had op-eds on the erosion of parental rights demonstrated in the case. In response to Oregon’s law to provide free abortions in the state, Father Stephen Imbarrato did an hour-long interview with Mater Dei Radio in Portland.

Evangelist Alveda King, director of Civil Rights for the Unborn (CRU) has been networking with prolife leaders to support awareness and passage of the Senate "Better Healthcare" Bill, as well as encouraging a greater anti-abortion agenda.

Fr. Frank Pavone is planning for the National Prayer Service (NationalPrayerService.com) to take place in Washington DC on the morning of the March for Life. Senior officials in the Presidential Administration will be invited, and it will once again be the premier interdenominational prayer event associated with the anniversary of Roe vs. Wade.

Fr. Frank is working on a project to urge all pastors to publicize alternatives to abortion. The collaboration of Good Counsel Homes and Heartbeat International -- with their resources and hotlines numbers -- will be central to this project.

Our social media team is preparing updates each day consistent with the liturgical feasts or civic observances; they are also training our team as well as pro-life leaders of other groups on how to be more effective in the use of multiple social media platforms.

In the arena of media, Fr. Frank and Janet Morana continue to be on Teresa Tomeo's Catholic Connection weekly. Our radio show, The Gospel of Life on Radio Maria airs every Tuesday night at 6pm ET.
