In recent days, our Associate Director, Fr. Denis Wilde, OSA, has been preparing for a parish mission he will give all this week at Holy Trinity Church in Peachtree City, GA.

Meanwhile, Evangelist Alveda King travelled to South Carolina to speak at a series of pro-life events that included a banquet, a march, a rally and the grand opening of the Daybreak Pregnancy Center in Columbia.

She and Fr. Frank Pavone are also preparing to participate in the annual national Commemorative Service in honor of Martin Luther King, Jr., at Ebenezer Baptist Church in Atlanta, this year on January 16th, at which Fr. Frank will again help lead the singing of "We Shall Overcome."

Fr. Frank Pavone and Janet Morana spent two days in Washington DC this past week convening pro-life leaders for strategic meetings, connecting with members of Congress to discuss upcoming pro-life legislation, and also interviewing various pro-life leaders on camera for the upcoming taping this Spring of our Defending Life series on EWTN, the world's largest religious media outlet.

Our worldwide ministry of Rachel’s Vineyard has had a very busy start to the New Year!

We sent out our monthly newsletter to over 19,000 people, in it we also had a link to our 2016 End of Year report.

Dr. Theresa Burke met with Rachel’s Vineyard team leaders in Harrisburg, PA to help plan a new initiative for North Carolina which is sure to bear many fruits for the Vineyard.

This week we have fielded many calls on our Toll Free National Hotline. We are blessed to be able to help those hurting with every call!

Fr. Stephen Imbarrato has been working here in Albuquerque planning an upcoming local event at the University of New Mexico to expose the abortion cartel there. He has also been contacting members of Congress regarding our upcoming January events in Washington DC. In particular, Fr. Stephen is reaching out to national pro-life leaders as we coordinate the national protest of Planned Parenthood to occur on Thursday, January 26th.

At the start of 2017, PNCI (Parliamentary Network for Critical Issues, under the direction of Marie Smith) is analyzing the most pressing challenges to a culture of life in regions of the world and at the United Nations. It continues strategic planning on how PNCI can counter anti-life actions in collaboration with like-minded organizations and individuals.

Fr. Frank has sent out the Priests for Life Action Alert to welcome the new Congress and to mobilize people to pledge their prayers for our elected and appointed public officials. He is also broadcasting each day on Facebook Live and is preparing the upcoming newsletters for Priests for Life as well as coordinating with staff for the planning of the National Prayer Service on the morning of the March for Life.

Priests for Life has responded to the scandal that has been uncovered in the Church of Scientology, where people  in their high echelons have been forced to have abortions.

Janet Morana, our Executive Director and the co-founder of the Silent No More Awareness Campaign, has been working with Georgette Forney of Anglicans for Life, and also a co-founder of the Campaign, to finalize plans for gatherings across the nation, particularly at the March for Life and the Walk for Life West Coast, at which members of the Campaign will share public testimony about their experience of the pain and healing after abortion.

Our Pastoral Associate Kevin Burke has been writing and preparing various articles for publication regarding the power of the healing and testimonies received through Rachel's Vineyard, the Silent No More Awareness Campaign, and Healing the Shockwaves of Abortion. He has been planning talks to various groups, such as the Knights of Columbus, and urging people to attend the many upcoming events of Silent No More.

In the arena of media, Fr. Frank will speak on Teresa Tomeo's  Catholic Connection with Teresa Tomeo on Wednesday, January 11 at 8:35, and Janet will again host "The Gospel of Life" show on Radio Maria on Tuesday night the 10th. Meanwhile, our Defending Life and Catholic View for Women programs air each week on EWTN and we continue to promote them vigorously.
