Fr. Frank and others on the PFL team worked hard to secure our new building in Florida as much as possible against hurricane damage and to ensure the safety of our staff.

The fact that Congress is in session again after their August break is also keeping us busy behind the scenes in strategizing with our prolife lawmakers and other prolife organizations to advance prolife legislation in the coming months.

Evangelist Alveda King, Director of Civil Rights for the Unborn, recently travelled to Southern Pines, NC to speak at the "It's A Beautiful Life" Banquet for the Life Care Pregnancy Center. Civil Rights for the Unborn is also working on: 1. Networking nationally in an effort to defund Planned Parenthood. 2. Promoting the National Day of Remembrance for Aborted Children and remembering all those lost in the 9/11 terrorist attack. 3. Working on efforts to steer Title X funding to health centers that do not support abortions.

Dr. Theresa Burke, founder of Rachel's Vineyard, is planning the 2018 International Rachel's Vineyard Leadership Conference.

Janet Morana is at our current headquarters in Staten Island, NY packing and preparing for another moving truck to Florida. Fr. Frank Pavone is gathering endorsements from bishops and priests for Janet’s new book about Shockwaves.

On Saturday, September 9, 2017, Priests for Life, Citizens for a Pro-Life Society and the Pro-Life Action League co-sponsored the 5th annual National Day of Remembrance for Aborted Children, calling on pro-life Americans to honor the gravesites of our aborted brothers and sisters. See more information at Fr. Frank Pavone led a memorial service at Laurel Hill Cemetery in Philadelphia where the babies killed by Kermit Gosnell are buried.

Priests for Life along with Abortion Free New Mexico have recently released another undercover phone call exposing the horror of late term abortion. The most recent call, This is Late Term Abortion, describes the procedure in detail. Fr. Frank Pavone is planning for the National Prayer Service ( to take place in Washington DC on the morning of the March for Life. Senior officials in the Presidential Administration will be invited, and it will once again be the premier interdenominational prayer event associated with the anniversary of Roe vs. Wade.

Fr. Frank is working on a project to urge all pastors to publicize alternatives to abortion. The collaboration of Good Counsel Homes and Heartbeat International -- with their resources and hotlines numbers -- will be central to this project.

Fr. Frank has also been working in favor of the Pain Capable Unborn Child Protection Act, which would protect the lives of children in the womb who can feel pain. He is contacting clergy across the nation to sign on to a joint letter to Congress in favor of this legislation.

Our social media team is preparing updates each day consistent with the liturgical feasts or civic observances; they are also training our team as well as pro-life leaders of other groups on how to be more effective in the use of multiple social media platforms.

In the arena of media, Fr. Frank and Janet Morana continue to be on Teresa Tomeo's Catholic Connection weekly. Our radio show, The Gospel of Life on Radio Maria airs every Tuesday night at 6pm ET. Meanwhile, Defending Life and The Catholic View for Women programs continue to air regularly on EWTN and we continue to promote them vigorously.
