Expose Democrats who voted against saving babies born alive!

Dear Friends,
As you know, on Jan. 22 of this year – as Priests for Life was leading numerous events in DC observing the anniversary of Roe v. Wade - Democrats in the U.S. Senate blocked the Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act from advancing for a vote.
The bill said, "Any infant born alive after an abortion or within a hospital, clinic, or other facility has the same claim to the protection of the law that would arise for any newborn, or for any person who comes to a hospital, clinic, or other facility for screening and treatment or otherwise becomes a patient within its care.”
The vote was 52-47. Not a single Democrat voted to advance the bill!
Before the vote, Senate Minority Leader (and abortion extremist) Chuck Schumer outright lied about the bill, calling it "as pernicious as they come. It attacks women's health care using false narratives and outright fearmongering, and it adds more legal risk for doctors on something that is already illegal."
Do you see women’s “health care” - Democrat-speak for having an abortion - threatened in any way? No! This bill is not about the mother, it’s about the baby, and the doctor’s responsibility once it becomes clear that the child is unexpectedly alive. The abortion industry for a long time has had a term for this… the “dreaded complication!”
Schumer went on to say it is already illegal to allow an infant born alive to die without care. Not true. The laws are a patchwork. As a state senator, one Barack Obama opposed a bill to create these protections in Illinois. And that’s just one example.
And records exist about these live births taking place. We know it happened with a rather alarming frequency in Minnesota, until Gov. Tim Walz - the failed vice presidential candidate and abortion fanatic - ordered the state to stop keeping statistics on the number of babies who survive abortion.
That’s the pro-abortion way: Lie and then look the other way when the truth is literally gasping for air in front of you.
The House, to its credit, passed its version of the bill on the day of the Roe anniversary, with a vote of 217-204. Only one solitary Democrat, Rep. Henry Cuellar of Texas, voted in favor. The rest of the gutless party of death voted no.
Business has moved on in Congress but we cannot let this be just another failed vote. We need to expose these death-loving Democrats. We must challenge them to explain themselves.
That’s where I’m asking for your help.
If you are represented in the House and/or Senate by a Democrat, call his or her office and ask for an explanation. They need to understand that we are their constituents, we are watching, and we vote!
Thirteen seats currently held by Democrat senators will be up for re-election in 2026. Sen. Tina Smith of Minnesota - a former Planned Parenthood official - has decided not to run, but don’t let her off the hook. Call her anyway. Same with Gary Peters of Michigan.
Call all of the Democrats in the House and Senate, except Cuellar (unless you want to call to thank him).
See if you can wrangle an explanation from them.
Of course, they won’t listen, and there is no explanation. But your action is a warning to them and a message to the voters about the midterm elections 2026. We can’t keep electing these people who cannot even protect a born baby!
If you are active on social media, in addition to calling their offices, call them out on X, Instagram or Facebook or wherever you are active. You could even write a letter to your hometown newspaper, asking for an explanation. Make sure everyone knows that your elected representatives voted against life-saving care for the most vulnerable newborns.
