Evangelist Alveda King will take part in events in Maryland for Juneteenth on Saturday, June 15.

Every year on June 19, African-Americans celebrate “Juneteenth,” the anniversary of the day slavery was abolished in Texas in 1865.

10:00 - 11:00 am: Children’s art event in Baltimore City at "Art with a Heart” (20-30 Baltimore City High School youth) Open to media.
