TITUSVILLE, FL - Priests for Life National Director Frank Pavone issued the following statement today after Vice President Kamala Harris spoke about abortion during a campaign stop in Georgia.

“Kamala Harris should be ashamed of herself for continuing to spread the lie that the deaths of two women in Georgia following chemical abortion were the result of ‘Trump abortion bans.’ “

“Chemical abortion killed these mothers,” Pavone said. “It’s a dangerous, painful, traumatic experience for women, and sometimes it’s deadly. If Harris was really interested in protecting women, she would have told the truth about chemical abortion.

“Americans also should remember that it was the Biden-Harris administration that loosened the regulations on chemical abortion, allowing them through 10 weeks of pregnancy, instead of seven. Amber Thurman was nine weeks pregnant when she took the pills.

“Abortion laws don’t kill women. Abortion kills women.”
