TITUSVILLE, FL -- Priests for Life National Director Frank Pavone released the following statement today regarding the confirmation of Robert F. Kennedy Jr. as secretary of the Department of Health and Human Services:
“The confirmation of Robert Kennedy is a huge step forward for the pro-life movement,” Pavone said. “For decades, the abortion industry has been destroying the health of America, along with the babies, and has gotten a free pass as research about the devastating health impact of abortion is either impeded or buried. An even-handed commitment to making America healthy again will expose and stop the devastating impact of abortion.
“I am confident RFK Jr. will tackle the issue honestly. I was encouraged by his comments during his confirmation hearing that he agrees with President Trump that every abortion is a tragedy. That’s a perfect place to start.
“This confirmation signals there is no more free ride for the Democrats and their radical agenda.”
