Father Frank Pavone, National Director of Priests for Life, will be one of the main speakers at the Walk for Life West Coast Rally on Saturday, January 25 in San Francisco.

“I have taken part in the Walk for Life almost every year since its inception in 2005,” said Father Pavone. “Every year it has grown in size and in influence. I’m very happy to have a chance to address participants in the 2020 event, as I have in years past.”

Father Pavone said he will share a message on political responsibility.

“I will stress the opportunity for and the duty of the pro-life movement in 2020 to elect public servants who know the difference between serving the public and killing the public,” he said. “I will talk about the primacy of the right to life as a political issue. Without the right to life, all other rights are meaningless. I will also urge everyone to take part in the National Election Prayer Campaign, a project we have organized at www.ElectionPrayer.com.”

This year’s Walk for Life also will feature a voter registration booth set up in Civic Center Plaza.

“In California, it’s very easy to register to vote, and people can begin registering at the age of 16,” he noted. “We also will have the National Voter Registration form available, so everyone should stop by to make sure they are properly registered.”

Women and men of the Silent No More Awareness Campaign will give their testimonies prior to the walk, as they do every year.

Priests for Life Youth Outreach Director Bryan Kemper also will take part in the Walk and will greet visitors to the ministry’s table at the Info Faire.

The full schedule of activities can be found at www.PriestsforLife.org/MarchforLife.

Father Pavone recalled the first Walk for Life, when pro-abortion agitators blocked the street in an effort to stop the walk in its tracks. The decision was made to circumvent the blockade and continue with the event.

“This pro-life movement arises from the very heart of humanity, from people who say, ‘we’ve got to do something,’” Father Pavone said. “These are not people who will be dissuaded by a bunch of screaming lunatics who think they own the streets.”

On the morning of the Walk, from 8 to 9 a.m. PT, Priests for Life will lead a protest outside Planned Parenthood at 1650 Valencia St.

Fr. Frank has posted this broadcast about the Walk for Life on his internet broadcasting channels.

All of the San Francisco events will be live-streamed and can be seen on Priests for Life’s online broadcast channel www.EndAbortion.TV and the various social media and internet video platforms linked from there.

Priests for Life (www.EndAbortion.US)  is the world’s largest Catholic pro-life organization dedicated exclusively to ending abortion. Pro-life efforts are working. The abortion rate in America is the lowest it has been since Roe v. Wade and in recent years states have passed more than 400 laws to protect the unborn. The number of freestanding abortion clinics in the U.S. has dropped from 2179 in 1991 down to 710 today, and President Trump has placed 187 (and counting) pro-life judges on the federal bench.
