New seasons of The Catholic View for Women and Priests for Life’s Defending Life will debut next week on EWTN.

New episodes of Catholic View will begin airing on Sunday, March 1. The show airs at 2:30 a.m. ET Sunday and is rebroadcast at 11:30 p.m. ET on Sunday.

Defending Life will premiere at 10:30 p.m. Thursday, March 5, and will be rebroadcast at 3:30 a.m. Monday, March 9.

Priests for Life Executive Director Janet Morana returns as co-host both of Catholic View and Defending Life. Joining her on set for Catholic View will be Catholic media personality Teresa Tomeo and EWTN’s Elena Rodriguez. Her co-host this year on Defending Life will be Father William Scott Daniels, OP, parochial vicar at St. Dominic Parish in New Orleans and a former pastoral team member with Priests for Life.

Topics on this year’s Catholic View will include sex trafficking in the United States; caring for aging parents; making the choice to be a mother and spiritual survival for busy moms; the right way to immigrate to the U.S.; homeschooling, and coming home to the Catholic Church.

Guests will include Ave Maria University professor Elizabeth Donovan; Stanton Healthcare founder and CEO Brandi Swindell; “Unplanned” screenwriter Chuck Konzelman, and Catholic blogger Heather Renshaw.

“This is our 12th season and I’m so pleased that we can continue to offer such a wide variety of guests and relevant topics to our viewers,” Mrs. Morana said. “I’m confident that anyone who tunes in will be entertained, educated and empowered by what they see.”

Defending Life, now beginning its 34th season, is the longest-running, farthest-reaching TV series on abortion. Mother Angelica herself asked Father Frank Pavone, National Director of Priests for Life, to start it back in 1994.

Topics this season will include a look at states that have passed laws allowing infanticide; the outlook for overturning Roe v. Wade; reaching millennials with a pro-life message and seeing abortion for what it is – a crime against humanity.

National pro-life leaders who will appear include Issues 4 Life’s Walter Hoye; Allan Parker of the Justice Foundation; Catherine Glenn Foster of Americans United for Life, and Kelsey Hazzard of Secular Pro-Life.

“Our country is moving in the direction of restoring life to the unborn,” said Father Frank Pavone, co-producer of Defending Life. “Our show will make viewers familiar with strategies that are winning, and the people behind those strategies.”

Both shows can be seen on EWTN TV or streamed at  Find out more about the series at www.DefendingLife.TV and

Priests for Life (EndAbortion.US)  is the world’s largest Catholic pro-life organization dedicated exclusively to ending abortion. Pro-life efforts are working. The abortion rate in America is the lowest it has been since Roe v. Wade and in recent years states have passed more than 400 laws to protect the unborn. The number of freestanding abortion clinics in the U.S. has dropped from 2179 in 1991 down to 710 today, and President Trump has placed 187 (and counting) pro-life judges on the federal bench.
