ORLANDO, FL - “This year’s Conservative Action Political Conference falls as a tsunami of pro-abortion policies and personnel are in the spotlight,” according to Priests for Life National Director Father Frank Pavone, who is speaking at the conference here this weekend at the Hyatt Regency.
This week’s pro-abortion activities in Congress included:
• Senate hearings for Xavier Becerra, Biden’s nominee for secretary of the Department of Health and Human Services. Becerra is an abortion extremist who, during his hearing in the Senate Health Committee referred to a child in the womb as a “future baby” and refused to give a direct answer to any question he was asked about abortion.
• House passage of H.R. 5, the Equality Act, which introduces radical expansions in abortion policy, and suppression of religious freedom under the disguise of omissions and deceptive language.
• An expected vote in the House today of a $1.9 trillion Covid-19 relief package that exploits the pandemic to push the Democrats’ left-wing agenda, including funding for abortion.
Father Pavone has mobilized supporters to take action against this week’s assault on the unborn. See StopAbortionNow.org for communications sent to hundreds of thousands of followers.
“This is only the beginning of the battle in this new Congress,” said Father Pavone. “We are urging citizens to object to pro-abortion bills, support the pro-life bills that have been introduced, and inform other voters of the extremism of the Democrat positions.”
