The staff at Priests for Life headquarters in Titusville, Florida, continues to grow.

One new employee started work in November in our data department, and a former employee returned to become a kind of jack-of-all trades here.

Mary Bennett comes to Priests for Life after a 36-year career in the defense industry, first in finance and then in project management. Born and raised in Ellicott City, Maryland, also lived in Arizona for 17 years before making her way to the Space Coast to work for Lockheed Martin in Titusville.

“I decided I wanted to do something more meaningful and I saw Father Frank Pavone on Instagram and found out that Priests for Life is in Titusville,” Mary said. “I decided to see what I could do to volunteer.”

While volunteering here, she met Mark Valonzo, our chief technology officer, and he told her about a job opening up in the data department. She was happy to apply.

“I just really believe in Father Frank and the cause,” she said.

Mary is the proud mom of a daughter who lives in Maryland and was recently married. Shortly before starting her new job she adopted a black lab puppy named Hopper.

Tammy Journey worked as a receptionist at Priests for Life before leaving for another opportunity. But now she’s back!

Tammy will be an office assistant, helping out in various departments. She’s a former teacher and also worked in human resources before originally joining our staff.

Tammy is practically a Central Florida native, having lived here since she was 4, when her family relocated here from Virginia. When Tammy is not at work, you can often find her and her husband, Mark, an electrical engineer, on the water somewhere, fishing.

“As a Christian, I feel privileged to have found my new calling here at Priests For Life helping to support the unborn,” she said.
