“And Jesus gave him to his mother” (Lk. 7:15).
Lord, Your Word of Life
is Your Word of Mercy,
Inviting us to repent,
and to trust in You
For the forgiveness of all our sins.
We pray today for all in need of forgiveness
For the sin of abortion.
Lord, give them the light of Your Spirit,
and the strength and confidence to turn to You.
Console them in their grief
And turn their despair into hope.
Help them to entrust their children to Your care
And to know that You love them even more than we do.
Enable all who repent of abortion
To take hold of the new and abundant life You offer,
And to carry out with peace and joy
The calling You have given them in life.
We pray through Christ our Lord. Amen.
