WASHINGTON, D.C. - As President Trump becomes the first U.S. President to attend the March for Life today, his campaign announced “Pro-Life Voices for Trump,” a grassroots effort for the pro-life community to support the most pro-life president in our history.
Father Frank Pavone, National Director of Priests for Life, has been named co-chair of Pro-Life Voices for Trump, along with Marjorie Dannenfelser, president of the Susan B. Anthony List.
Many other national leaders of the pro-life movement are part of the advisory board, including two other leaders of the Priests for Life team, Executive Director Janet Morana and Evangelist Alveda King, director of the ministry’s Civil Rights for the Unborn.
“For pro-life policy to advance, it is essential to re-elect this president, along with a Republican House and Senate,” Father Pavone explained. “We aren’t the ones who decided that, by the way. The Democrat Party did, with its embrace of unrestricted abortion right up to birth. Such a position disqualifies a person — and a party— from public office.”
Pro-Life Voices for Trump will educate all voters about the pro-life progress that has been made under the Trump Administration, and mobilize grassroots people to support him.
All pro-life Americans are invited to join Pro-Life Voices for Trump by texting LIFE to 88022, or going to prolifevoices.donaldjtrump.com.
Priests for Life (www.EndAbortion.US) is the world’s largest Catholic pro-life organization dedicated exclusively to ending abortion. Pro-life efforts are working. The abortion rate in America is the lowest it has been since Roe v. Wade and in recent years states have passed more than 400 laws to protect the unborn. The number of freestanding abortion clinics in the U.S. has dropped from 2179 in 1991 down to 710 today, and President Trump has placed 187 (and counting) pro-life judges on the federal bench.
