Here we give you a snapshot of some of what the Priests for Life family of ministries is doing in these days. We thank you for your support and invite you to get to know us better!!

Fr. Frank Pavone has begun his regular column for Newsmax.com, with the first issue being published Wednesday, June 13. Check out www.Newsmax.com/insiders/frfrankpavone/id-562.

Janet Morana, P.D., Executive Director and Leslie Palma-Simoncek, Director of Communications are participating in the 2018 Catholic Media Conference in Green Bay, WI from Tuesday, June 12 to Friday, June 15, 2018.

From now to July 31, Priests for Life is asking people to participate in the public comment period, to voice support for President Trump’s proposed rules that would prevent $60 million of taxpayer funding in the annual Title X family planning program from going to the abortion industry and Planned Parenthood. You can find more information and how to do this at www.PriestsForLife.org/HHS. Please get other like-minded individuals to submit a comment as well so we can outnumber the pro-abortion comments.

The entire pastoral team is preparing to gather at the Florida headquarters next week for meetings and fellowship.

Priests for Life is preparing for a live telethon on Facebook, to be held on the evening of Tuesday, June 19th from 7 to 10pm. Tune in at Facebook.com/FatherFrankPavone.

The stakes are high for the unborn in the 2018 elections. Don’t let negative predictions keep you or others from voting. Join a discussion with Fr. Frank Pavone and learn how to advance the cause of life this year. We will hold a national webcast on Wednesday night June 20th from 9 to 10pm ET. Sign up at www.ElectionWebcast.org.

Executive Director, Janet Morana is preparing for a major international meeting in the Fall to be held at our headquarters for training on healing after abortion and also a meeting of former abortionists.

Janet has also been promoting her new book, Shockwaves: Abortion’s Wider Circle of Victims. Copies are available at ShockwavesTheBook.com.

We have been promoting our Father’s Day Novena at www.PrayerCampaign.org/FathersDay.

The Media Department is keeping an eye on the Supreme Court as we await a ruling in NIFLA vs. Becerra, an important First Amendment case that will impact pregnancy resource centers all over the country. Please pray for this case at www.SupremeCourtVictory.com. Father Frank has an op-ed in the Washington Examiner on recent abortion-related rulings. We’re also urging political responsibility for voters in five states that are having primaries this week.

Fr. Stephen Imbarrato is in Knoxville, TN at Holy Trinity Parish preaching a Summer Mercy Mission. All Conferences will be on Facebook Live. He will be hearing confessions and celebrating Mass at St. Bernadette in Albuquerque this weekend and continues to settle into his new home.

Evangelist Alveda King and Civil Rights for the Unborn (CRU) is networking with African Prolife leaders to address the need for anti-abortion sanctions to protect Babies, Mothers and Families.

The Resource Department is sending out the Summer Reading bundles for Adults and Kids alike and getting out the message to vote with our voting products. They are also sending out fliers for the telethon on June 19, from 7-10pm.  We have received just under 100 new supporters, in the past week alone, and have provided them with the orders and materials they need.

Theresa Burke is getting ready to speak at the Catholic Medical Association’s Annual Medical Student and Resident Boot Camp in Mundelein, IL, on June 20, 2018. She will be presenting “Crash Course in Trauma”. She has been a speaker at this event for the past 4 years.

Bob Lalonde, who heads up our international outreach is at the United Nations representing the unborn at the 11th Conference of States Parties to the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.

Marie Smith and the Parliamentary Network for Critical Issues (PNCI) is tracking the latest policy actions affecting a culture of life around the world and is preparing its June newsletter.

Public Outreach has been getting reactions after many of the primaries. Many people are heartened by the big Republican turn out at the polls in CA especially. Looks like the predicted “blue wave” might just be a blue trickle. Public Outreach will continue to be available to educate and activate the public for 2018 election victory.

Priests for Life will sponsor the prayer breakfast at the National Right to Life Convention this year in Kansas City from June 28-30. The speaker will be Archbishop Joseph Naumann of Kansas City, who will be the new Chairman of the US Bishops’ Committee on Pro-life Activities. Fr. Frank will offer the opening prayer at the breakfast. He will also present several workshops. Our Youth Outreach Director, Bryan Kemper, will also present workshops at the Convention.

Priests for Life is leading a prayer campaign for the 2018 elections. Please join us and spread the word. See www.ElectionPrayer.com.

Priests for Life continuing the prayer campaign for Ireland after the vote on May 25, 2018 when the people in Ireland voted to remove the protection that their Constitution gave to children in the womb, opening the way for laws permitting abortion. We need to continue to pray that the pro-life citizens and lawmakers will stop the advance of this holocaust before it goes any further. Please join us in prayer at www.PrayerCampaign.org/Ireland.

We have welcomed a new staff member, Rob Collins, who will work with Bryan Kemper and the rest of our staff to bring our social media outreach to a whole new level. Rob has already had great success in this field with his large Facebook platform called “Catholicity” and other popular pages.

Fr. Frank and Dave his assistant are reaching out to priests and deacons through phone calls and emails from all around the country who have been responsive to our ministry in the past. They are asking for printed pro-life resources for their parish communities and literature racks, as well as preaching aids for themselves (e.g. Proclaiming the Message of Life, brochures on preaching, bulletin inserts, Priests for Life website references, etc.).  We are happy to share these resources with them free of charge.

We are also establishing a systematic outreach program to the Catholic seminaries in the US, and working to strengthen their pro-life formation and networking across the country and at various pro-life events.
