Priests for Life is pleased to introduce the Guadalupe Hope for Families Fund, which brings together the many ways we help mothers and fathers choose life when they are facing a pregnancy they feel they cannot handle. Through pregnancy centers, churches, sidewalk outreach, media, educational resources, networking, and public policy efforts, we work to make sure families know that abortion is not their only option and that real help and hope are available.

The Fund is named for Guadalupe, whose mother, Helene, changed her mind about having an abortion in 1994 while I was praying outside the abortion facility she had entered in Florida. On March 14, 2026, Helene, Guadalupe, and Guadalupe’s two daughters came to the Priests for Life office to share their story and help us introduce this effort. Their family is a beautiful reminder that when a mother is given hope and support at the right moment, generations of lives can be changed.

That is what the Guadalupe Hope for Families Fund is all about: helping mothers, fathers, and their children by replacing fear and despair with hope, encouragement, and practical alternatives to abortion. The generosity of our supporters makes this lifesaving work possible, and in the weeks and months ahead we will share more about the many specific ways this Fund will enable Priests for Life to reach families in need and help them choose life.
