S. 50 The Abortion Nondiscrimination Act

S. 50, the Abortion Non-Discrimination Act, protects the right of conscience. It prohibits the federal government and any state or local government that receives federal financial assistance from discriminating against a health care institution or health care professional or insurance plan because of that entity’s refusal to participate in abortion-related activities.
